About the Opportunity

Currently, Reotech Construction has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team in Coquitlam, BC.

Working closely with the Project Managers, the successful candidate will work diligently to exceed customer expectations and ensure all projects are completed on time and on budget.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Assisting two project managers on several projects simultaneously.
  • Maintaining open communication with project team members which include site superintendents, vendors, designers, and consultants.
  • Preparing, distributing, and tracking project documentation including daily email correspondence, purchase orders, change orders, RFIs etc.
  • Reviewing shop drawings for compliance and preparing shop drawings for consultants to review.
  • Reviewing completed projects with management to improve future outcomes. 
  • Assisting with preparation of tenders and proposals.

In order to qualify for this role, you will have previous experience as a construction project administrator along with working knowledge of the construction process and related documentation. Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset as is previous experience with LEED projects and documentation.   

Our ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to read and understand construction drawings and experience with document routing and the process of consultant reviews. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills will allow you to excel in this fast-paced atmosphere.

Individuals with a strong sense of customer service that are highly self-motivated will do well in this role.
