Business Project Analyst

$63,200.00 - $87,600.00 annually

The Business Project Analyst works closely with the Business Project Manager and provides support in business design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement issues for any systems software projects that support the Debt Management Branch.  This position proactively addresses business system issues related to branch expansion, monitors project budgets and makes recommendations to the Business Systems Manager and senior management.  At any given time, this position is managing multiple business systems projects that directly impact the Province’s ability to meet its financial needs and obligations.

An effective communicator and collaborator, you develop strategic partnerships and negotiate key components of projects with stakeholders. You possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and are highly skilled at project direction, management and leadership. Qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or economics, or a related area.
  • Experience in banking, financial management, or capital markets strongly preferred. Preference may be given to candidates with 5 years’ experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management/leadership for complex, integrated application systems and in planning to implement multiple concurrent projects.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
