We are currently seeking a Regional Director, Business Banking, to lead our Fraser Valley Business Banking team and drive profitable growth for the region. Our ideal candidate is an exceptional people leader who is known for building and motivating high performance teams that exceed business goals while delivering an exceptional client experience.

What you’ll do:

Provide coaching to the Business Banking team to support them in their roles with an enhanced focus on relationship management. You will also drive profitability for the region through participating in short and long-term planning, developing and implementing sales development strategies, and maximizing income opportunities. As a Prospera ambassador, you also will be a visible member of the local business and professional community.

What you’ll need:

• Proven people leadership skills with the ability to provide leadership, direction, coaching and support to staff; Able to motivate and inspire teamwork and enthusiasm
• Advanced knowledge in business lending products, services, complex procedures and administration
• Advanced knowledge of statutory guidelines and regulations governing business lending
• Superior communication skills both orally and in writing. Able to deliver professional presentations to Executives and the business community
• Thorough knowledge of business development techniques
• Thorough knowledge of collection processes, including legal requirements
• Knowledge of banking systems and personal computer applications
• Ability to plan, schedule, organize and prioritize work assignments
• Ability to exercise judgment in risk assessment, particularly those of a complex nature
• Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance and a minimum of ten years’ business lending experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
