Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead product development, manufacturing and commercialization initiatives within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cannabis, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors for our growth steep journey. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and managing project-related activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deliverables.
Annual salary range is $80,000 – 90,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage project plans for product development and manufacturing, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, regulatory affairs, and production, to ensure project objectives are met while managing conflicts, resource constraints, and scheduling challenges.
- Proactively identify and communicate key project issues and concerns across departments, providing actionable recommendations to the portfolio manager.
- Understand and articulate the roles and responsibilities within the organization, clearly communicating project tasks to relevant stakeholders and taking accountability for project progress and setbacks.
- Estimate and manage resource needs, including quantity and timing for all project-related activities, ensuring that all resources are effectively utilized.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Life Sciences, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience; a master's degree or certification in project management (PMP, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of project management experience in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cannabis, or CPG industries, with a proven track record of successful product development.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to navigate complex project challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, along with MS Office Suite.
